FROM APPLICATION TO MATCH-MAKING PROCESS

How to increase your chances to find the perfect intern

Do you wish to increase your chances of finding your perfect intern(s)? We can post your offer online and share it with the Japanese universities to which we promote Vulcanus, until the end of September 2023 (the deadline for students to apply).

This possibility is open to all companies who are interested in Vulcanus, whatever the status of their application.

For more information, please check details at the first page of the online application form.

   How to apply

Please complete the online application form and submit it by 23 SEPT 2023.

Please feel free to submit as many offers as you have available internships, with different contents.

Each company can host up to 2 interns (3 under exceptional circumstances).

    Short-listing process

We will short-list the eligible companies in early October. We will evaluate the content of your offer of internship, along with the corporate information about your company.

By mid-October we will inform you about the outcome of your application and (if applicable) about the match-making week schedule and procedure.

    Match-making process

The shortlisted students can express their preference for up to 3 offers of internship that best fit their profile and expectations.

Should one or more students express a preference for your offer, you will receive their file during the match-making week. Since students can apply for more than one offer, their files will be sent at the same time to other companies.

We work on a 'first-come, first-served' basis. The first company who accepts the student will host him/her for the internship.

You will have the possibility to interview the student before taking a decision.

   Traineeship contract

By early December 2023, the company will sign a traineeship contract with the trainee and the EU-Japan Centre for Industrial Cooperation, which lays down the rights and the responsibilities of all parties.
